It was indite by Nathaniel Hawthorne, he was fourty-six geezerhood old when he wrote the story, and was writing for twenty-four years . It was published in 1850 by Ticknor, vibrating reed instrument & Fields in Boston. Summarized, it is a story somewhat the trials and tribulations of Hester Prynne. She moves to Boston, sledding her hubby behind. Two years after not beholding her husband, she has an affair with reverend Dimmesdale. This leads to her becoming pregnant and being penalize by the town. She is forced to wear an A on her bureau for the rest of her life. While being revengeed upon the town scaffold, she sees her husband in the crowd. He swears to find the father of Hesters child and seeks his punish upon the unknowing reverend. He does so under the name of Roger Chillingworth to quash being recognized. Over a seven year course, you gather in the hardships Hester must end ure and Chillingworths torture causes Dimmesdale to admit his wrongdoing. When first teaching The Scarlet Letter,it seems to focus on the adultery committed amongst the deuce individuals and the aftermath that follows.
